Located on the Navesink River and close proximity to all points Red Bank, Riverview Towers offers high-rise living on the water. I parked my car in a guest spot in the underground garage (owners can rent a reserved spot for $55/month).

Are there swankier entrances to a high-rise? Sure. Friendlier? Perhaps not.

Riverview Towers is cozy, especially when greeted by a lovely woman immediately behind the double glass doors.

To my left I encountered an old-fashioned lobby that felt like my grand aunt’s sitting room. Formal yet relaxed and flooded with light from Riverside Avenue even on a cloudy November day.

I walked a long corridor of mirror and glass chandeliers to the elevator like I was transported onto the Titantic. Of course, on happier days.

I kept squeezing my ear lobe — a trick I learned in a sleep study during college — to test my consciousness. Was I still in Red Bank? Was I still in Jersey?

Riverview reminded me of Battery Park in Manhattan.

You can rent, purchase or sell a co-op unit in Riverview Towers.  Sellers do receive a handsome premium for a water view (worth the prince’s ransom) while the street view isn’t so distracting to warrant concern.

Buyers are subject to Board approval and a credit check. Remember this is cooperative living, not fee simple. A proprietary lease and share ownership characterize the ownership type.

Erected in 1969, Riverview Towers comprises one hundred and fifty one (151) units, thirteen units per floor. It is a twelve story high-rise. Current prices range from $182,000 for a one bedroom and $675,000 for a two bedroom.
